Stalk

The other photo I had of the full body of this cat didn’t come out so well so this will have to do.

In Miri, a lot of the cats have short tails and/or kinks in their tails.

I never real thought anything much about it until a friend from out of town commented on how horrible it was that so many people here cut off their cats’ tails. They don’t; the cats are born like that.

Miri has so many cats? Are you sure you are not staying in Kuching? hehe…

In Kuching, I did not see many real cats, only cat statues. :-p

Maybe those statues were really real-life cats that were paid by the Kuching City Council to act like statues.

Cats in Miri like to gather around open-air restaurants and coffee shops, and feed off of people’s sympathies for freebies.

I don’t recommend petting them before or while you are eating, but I can’t resist not petting them afterwards. They deserve a good pet for keeping rat populations down 🙂

Manx cats [from the Isle of Man; an island in the Irish Sea, semi-independant of the UK] are also naturally tail-less.

Read up on Manx cats. Yeah, that’s the type we have here, I think. Don’t know how they got all the way from the Isle of Man to the Island of Borneo. Must’ve swam here.
